Unfortunately I could only stay for the first half of the bands set at their gig last night at the Penny Gill in Spennymoor due to work getting me up at 4.30am!
From what I heard in the first half of the gig was pretty great, there were a few technical issues with the microphone, although they suffered this issue they didn't let it effect their performance, they dealt with the problem like real professionals, carrying on as if nothing was wrong and fixing it after their song.
The band have a really great energy and really get you feeling the music, listening and watching them gave off a buzz, found myself dancing away and rocking out on a couple of occasions, and I was sober! Not a common thing to happen!
As well as their stage presence and the professionalism during the microphone issue, they chose a great set list that showed off their abilities, great range of vocals, not to play favourite as there were two vocalists, the female vocalist had some amazing talent, really enjoyed their set!
Would love to go and see them again and I am sure that the Penny Gill would have them back for another gig too, heard such great comments from the locals and for a Wednesday night they got a lot of people in.
Swapping buskers night for the band was a brilliant idea, I know I had a good time!
Below is a video I have stolen from youtube, just a little taster for my readers:
